Pam Darby

Pamela Sue Darby, also known as Pam, passed away on August 24, 2023, at the

age of 70 in Olympia, Washington. She was born on January 6, 1953, in Minot,

North Dakota, to her late parents, Paul and Elvira Borgers.

Pam was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra.

Pam was a fun-loving, spunky, and creative individual. She had a deep love for

music and was known for her musical talents. Throughout her life, she dedicated

herself to a fulfilling career with the Washington State Departments of Licensing

and Social and Health Services. Her commitment and hard work left a lasting

impact on her colleagues and the community she served.

In her free time, Pam enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought her joy and

fulfillment. She had a passion for sewing and quilting, creating beautiful pieces

with her own hands. She also had a love for music, theater, and singing, which

allowed her to express her creativity and connect with others. Pam found solace

in her garden, where she nurtured plants and found peace in nature.

Additionally, she had a talent for cooking and baking, delighting her loved ones

with delicious treats. She appreciated the beauty of sunsets and the challenge of

solving jigsaw puzzles.

Pam's warm and vibrant personality touched the lives of many. She will be deeply

missed by her husband, Ray, her daughter Bevin, and son-in-law Donny. Pam's

grandchildren, Scout and Bodhi, brought her immense joy and were a source of

pride and love. She is also survived by her sisters Marlys, Gail, Beverly, Ellen, and

Deanna, who shared many special moments and cherished memories with her.

In honor of Pam's memory, contributions can be made to the Thurston County

Food Bank. This organization was close to her heart, and donations in her name

will continue to support those in need within the community.

Pamela Sue Darby's legacy of love, creativity, and dedication will forever be

cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
