Hunter Martin Wells

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hunter Martin Wells on October 11,

2025, after a long battle with pneumonia and complications at Harborview Medical

Center in Seattle, Washington, at the age of 22.

Your life was a blessing,

Your memory a treasure.

You are loved beyond words

Hunter “Bubba” Martin Wells was born on May 5, 2003, in Tacoma, Washington, to Troy

and Monique (Martin) Wells, and was the youngest of their two children. Early on he

demonstrated his determination to beat the odds and to do things HIS WAY.

He had an infectious smile and the best giggle ever. He enjoyed spending time with his

family, friends, and his cat, Sterling Silfur. He thought that any gathering was an

occasion to eat; that, in fact, sharing food made it even more enjoyable.

Hunter is survived by his parents, Monique and Troy Wells, his sister, Melissa Wells

(Morrigan), and his maternal grandmother, Judy Ann Martin.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ira Martin (“Gramps”), his paternal

grandparents Sara Rich (“Nana”) and Arthur Rich (“Grandpa”), and his uncle, John

Martin.
