Cathy Wiggins

Cathy Ann Wiggins, aged 72, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Marysville, WA. Born on April 2, 1953, Cathy was known for her supportive and generous spirit, always ready to listen and help those in need. Cathy graduated from Burlington Edison High School and furthered her education at Skagit Business College, equipping her with skills that served her throughout her life. While the specifics of her career are not detailed, her impact on those around her was profound and cherished.

She was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother. Cathy is survived by her daughter Tiffany Roberts (Mike) and grandchildren London and Madelyn Roberts. She also leaves behind her brothers John Johnson (Candy) Jim Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Joe Johnson, and sisters Jennifer Brittain, Janae Allen (Mike), Sandra Brown, Susan Ogle (Bruce) Donna Garonzik along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

 Cathy was predeceased by her grandparents Cliff and Jennie Blackburn, her parents Jack Johnson and Hazel Sage, her aunt Ruth Rust, her sisters Kaye Brown and Nancy Rayment, niece Janelle Brown, nephew Dwayne Kerrigan, her spouse Eugene Wiggins, and former husband Wayne Kallio, who was the love of her life. 

Cathy had a passion for knitting and crocheting, often participating in various craft bazaars. Her love for nature was evident in her gardening and bird watching, particularly hummingbirds, showcasing her ability to nurture life in all forms. 

Graveside services are scheduled for May 28th at 1pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home and Memorial 1825 E. College Way Mount Vernon, WA 98273 followed by a memorial service at Mount Vernon Church of the Nazarene 2710 E. Fir Street Mount Vernon, WA 98273. 

In remembrance of Cathy's kindness and love for animals, contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Skagit County or a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
